Each member of our veternary team has their own area of special interest allowing us to provide a high standard of clinical care to our clients. All our vets choose to regularly attend continuing professional development courses to keep them up to date. Many of our vets are studying for or have achieved advanced veterinary qualifications. Two of our vets have RCVS Advanced Practitioner status and hold the highly respected RCVS Certificate in their areas of special interest (Ophthalmology and Cardiology). This advanced post-graduate qualification requires 3-5 years of study and involves submitted work plus rigorous practical and written examinations. Only approximately 5% of veterinary surgeons have achieved one of these qualifications and we are the only local practice to have two RCVS Advanced Practitioners and RCVS certificate holders.
